I just got this app for keeping track of how long i was practicing because i didnt have my phone and i was very pleased. At first i thought it was just going to be a crappy app that doesnt even work but i was very impressed! I would definatly recomend this to anyone! Agian its very useful!

It does exactly what is needed. I love how you can lock it so it dosn’t go away overall great app.

i was taking notes for american hisotry and I set a timer for 30 minutes so that I could take a break, while I was typing mid notes in pages, the application switched to the timer and the alarm sounded, I freaked out! would recommend!

I use it to time myself while practicing for tests.. Very useful! Easy to set the time that you want it for. Does what it states, and I like that you can see the time remaining on the bottom of your screen. Have never had a problem with it.

I love its simplicity: I don’t like complicated apps with lots of features. I like apps that just get down to the point, like this one. If you need a quick, simple, free timer app, this is what you are looking for. It’s easy to set the time and the alarm tone. The new update made it even better: now you can set seconds, and you can set it to always show. I use it all the time for practice tests. The only thing I can think of that would make it more convinient would be to add a setting to not sleep computer. Other than that, it’s flawless!

I can’t complain much because this app is free. However, the new update brings the second precision. There should be a setting to make this optional. Usually, i set the time by pressing the numbers, now i need to press additonal ’00’ to move from secs to minute or hours. It’s a habit for me to press 40 for 40 minutes, now i need to type 4000 for 40 minutes.

Very basic and effective Timer. I think it would be great if you could Label the Timer.

Hey! This app is great! I was using it before the update and I loved it’s simple functions and they worked well. But the update came with a bug. When the alarm goes off I can’t click the banner to stop it. I have to quit the app to restart. Please fix asap, this app is great otherwise. Considering the pro version also.

Been a long time user of the app and love it. Thanks for keeping it up to date. But would you consider getting rid of the seconds feature? I have loved the apps 5 stars for a long time without it. Now the new feature has decreased in usefulness due to seconds. Who needs a timer for seconds?

It happened to me on multiple occasions that I am neither able to quit the app, nor able to bring it to the front when minimzed. When the app is minimized into the dock, I click on its icon. It should bring it to the front and make it visible. But it’s not. The clock is going in the dock but the UI is not showing. The menubar does. Regardless what I do, the UI does not show. When I select “Quit” from the menu, the app doesn’t quit. I also try to select “Quit” by right clicking on the icon in the Dock, but that doesn’t quit the app either. Then I try to switch to it using Cmd+Tab+Option (Option - to show the UI of a hidden app), but even that doesn’t able to show the UI. This problem doesn’t happen all the time, but as I was saying, it happened to me on multiple occasions since the 3.0 update. OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks

Not overloaded with unnecessary features, but lacks only two possibilities: 1 no minimize to tray so that it does not take place in the dock 2 No attachment own melody to the bell.

This was exactly waht i needed and it works fantastically! my mom makes videos and she needs to know when to wrap it up. this was perfect. I love how its not just a dinky little toolbar clock that sends you a notification. its a very easy to read clock. and when the timer goes off “Boom!” you know its time to stop. good job developer.

Exactly what I was looking for. Clean, Simple and always on top of my screen.

The timer works fine, except that a) if the computer goes into sleep mode, the timer will not go off and b) even if the computer is at a low volume it will ring really loudly.

Installed it, window comes up advertising pro version of program, no way to get to the timer itself, absolutely fails before first use. Has no button or menu item to start the timer. Seems faulty in a big way. I give this app 4-F, or THE WORST FAILURE

Simple, useful little timer app. Works perfectly. THANK YOU to the developer.

The app is easy to use, and just what I needed so that I could have a timer running while I write. But it consumes a lot of battery power.
